"Be the change you want to see in the world." - Mahatma Ghandhi
My parents raised me and my brother to always try to find ways to help others. Whether it's sharing a smile and using kind words to help brighten someone's day, making a donation, or sharing your time doing community service - no one will ever regret doing something good.
In August, I mentioned my desire to blog about one foundation each month in order to help raise awareness for great causes. As it turns out, I underestimated the time I would have to blog in the midst of being a new mom to my newborn baby, being a supportive wife to my husband, studying for my real estate exam, pursuing my real estate career, keeping a clean house, and taking care of myself ALL during my husband's football season.
Fast forward roughly four months later...I'm determined to make up for lost time by doing one post featuring FOUR different amazing organizations! Click "Read More" in the bottom right-hand corner to see which foundations I featured this month.
I can remember growing up and having lazy Sundays in the fall with my parents and brother. We'd spend the day in comfy clothes and watch football all day. My mom always made a bunch of different delicious appetizers we could munch on. This chili cheese dip was almost always one of her choices! Who else feels that Fall is one of the most fun seasons for fashion?! It can also be the most tricky to dress for due to a wide range of temperatures. Click “Read More” in the bottom right-hand corner to see where I’ve bought some of my fall favorites! (I’ve had some of the booties for almost 6 years, so I did my best to find links with the closest match and the best deals)!
In honor of the heroes and innocent lives we lost on September 11th 2001, this month's foundation feature is The Johnny Mac Foundation. I feel incredibly honored to have been able to blog about such an amazing hero and the foundation that his loving family has created in honor of his memory. Click "Read More" in the bottom right corner to learn some of my biggest takeaways on the life of John McNamara and the Johnny Mac Foundation. My love goes out to anyone who has lost a loved one in relation to 9/11.
This past off-season, my husband and I had another little traveler to think about, and we chose to rent an RV! Click "Read More" in the bottom right-hand corner to catch a glimpse at our family trip.
